Dr. Barry Watts is the co-founder of Tree City Consultants. He has a background in biblical studies and has a Ph.D. in Counseling Psychology. He has served as a Professional Counselor for individuals, couples, and families for nearly 50 years. He was an adjunct professor of counseling and psychology for over 30 years. Through his clinical practice, he has helped people resolve mental and emotional problems such as Anxiety and Depression.  He was the Executive Director of the Children’s Home/Warm Springs Counseling Center for 20 years before opening Boise Valley Counseling Center.  He was also one of the founders of a high tech startup and built PC’s for over 6 years.  He has extensive experience serving on the Boards of a variety of nonprofits and has been honored for his years of service.

 Barry and his wife Bonnie have been married for the past 54 years. They have two children and seven grandchildren and enjoy living in Idaho.

Tim is co-founder of Tree City Consultants and serves as the Executive Director of Aphesis Group Ministries. He’s the author of the Untying the Knots of the Heart which has been used since 2009 to transform thousands of lives around the world. Tim brings over 34 years of experience in counseling and developing leaders, having spent countless hours helping others work through mental, emotional, and relational inner life issues. For over seven years Tim has taught college level counseling courses. He’s traveled the world, speaking and presenting on the topics of human psyche, being a trainer of trainers, a counselor and consultant to multitudes of leaders.

 Tim and his wife Renee (since 1982) together served with CRU for over twenty-six years. The majority of those years he served as an area and regional director in California and the Greater Northwest. Tim graduated with a BS in Psychology from Idaho State University and has since pursued his love of understanding the human psyche through his postgraduate Biblical studies, counseling, and therapy. His driving passion is to bring real and positive life change to people, helping them explore, understand inner life and relational dynamics.

 Tim and Renee have 4 grown children and 4 grandchildren and live in Boise, Idaho.
